4월 22일 Introducing Onfolio - my browsing assistantOnfolio is a company that we acquired and launched as an add-in to Toolbar last month during the launch of the Windows Live Toolbar beta. Here's what Scoble had to say. I tihnk the Onfolio product truly is amazing because of its ability to change the way you interact with web content, research & RSS feeds to be more productive.
What's even better is that while it can support simple web research tasks, it's designed for power user information consumption as well. Our product management team is hooked - they use it to collaborate on content authoring across the team.
Collecting stuff:
Today I'll blog about Research Collections, we'll save the RSS aggregation & clientside feed reader for next time.
With a click on the collections button on my Toolbar, I save screenshots of entire web pages, or snippets of content like text or individual graphics, and then save this info into folders within my Collections tab.
Offline archiving:
One of the big power user features enables offline archiving so I save an entire set of web pages, or even a whole web site, that are linked from my current web page. I find this super useful when flying to Seattle for a meeting so I'll conduct a search, select a bunch of links on the web page, then right click to capture a set of links & pages to Onfolio. Onfolio will save this as a mini web archive offline so I review when I'm on the plane.
Works in browser + across other app experiences:
What a lot of people don't realize about Onfolio is that it's super useful in the browser, but also in Outlook, Word or other apps. The Onfolio task pane can be brought up at any time, and sit as a separate app by opening the Onfolio Deskbar (go to the Onfolio icon in your system tray and select "Open Onfolio Deskbar"). Now I can access & re-use my collections in the context of creating documents or emails.
Organizing & re-organizing:
Onfolio provides folders for organizing & sorting. What I love best about the folders though is drag & drop - I can drag & drop folders to re-organize, or I can move items by dragging & dropping them between folders as I often do...
Powerful search:
Onfolio integrates with Windows Desktop Search to help power the search capability across all Onfolio items. So I can search for terms across all the data I have stored in Onfolio whether it's in my RSS feeds, or in my research collections and see results all powered by Windows Desktop Search.

Notes: Onfolio relies on the .NET Framework to be installed on your PC - you will be prompted to install it, while installing the Windows Live Toolbar beta, if it's not already present on your PC.
